This week we made stone soup ! We read the story Stone Soup. In the story, villagers learn that when everyone shares just a little, they can create something wonderful together. Ms. Alysia helped the children recreate stone soup.She got ground turkey,potatoes,veggies and many spices to make the soup tasty.The children assisted in cutting the potatoes,carrots,and celery.
...Stone Soup is a long-standing Thanksgiving tradition at PCS. It reminds us that when everyone contributes a little, we can make something special as a community.
Each of our friends brought a vegetable to share and enjoyed the hands-on experience of chopping and preparing the ingredients for our soup.

Our Room 4 friends loved making stone soup together! Inspired by our story: Fox Tale Soup, they safely helped chop up some vegetables, which we enjoyed later for our yummy soup lunch! Along with it, we had pumpkin and apple pie, fruit, and bread rolls.
