in these pics you can see when fully cocked (bottom picture), the trigger sear is engaged into the lower notch in the hammer. However, with the hammer all the way down as far as it will go (top picture), the sear doesn't even rest fully into the upper notch. That block that sits kind of above or around the firing pin seems wrong. pushing the safety on or off has no effect on how far the hammer can be lowered. The hammer is hitti...
