I had heard that the 2025 edition of Cockpit Fest might be the last one held at Newark Air Museum, and as to my shame, I had never been to one, this was to be the priority for this day out and about.

We arrived just as they opened up for the day and spent a few hours looking around Cockpit Fest and the rather excellent Newark Air Museum collection.

Delayed log from last years event at the former RAF Abingdon, now Dalton Barracks for the Army. Always a friendly and family feel to this show. Right on my door-step and dogs are welcome too – ideal for my Jet.
