Barbeques

Dear Members,

It was decided by the committee today that barbeques should be done at the back of the hut building on the stone flags. The lawn area was constructed for this purpose . We are getting complaints from residents about smoke drifting into to the houses. We have also received an E mail from the local Green Party leader, regarding issues with smoke.

Dear Members.

We have decided to close the stores with sales dropping off at this time of year, which is now mainly watering and harvesting on our plots.

However we are aware that Members might need lime or ground cover, When Gwen or Tsam are on site they will be happy serve you.

Hi To All Members,

Due to perstinace Leeds City Council came to site today and have carried out some modifications to the entrance gate. You can access the site through that gate.

We aware its been a headache for some members. They were closed off origionally so the site wasn’t put at risk.

We have always used a hose pipe to fill our barrels on our plots, then transfering the water using watering cans. These mechanical battery sprayers that you submerge in water and spray it with a wand can’t be used on Old Lane Allotments, we understand technology moves on .
