The peak came on Easter Monday, 6 April, when 6,637 passengers travelled through the airport, highlighting strong demand for the region despite broader economic pressures.

A woman has died following a traffic crash at Mothar Mountain, about 40 kilometres west of Noosa, this morning, 28 April.

Initial enquiries indicate shortly after 7am, a blue Honda Jazz rolled on Okeefe Road and hit a woman who was walking her dog on the road.

Police have charged a man after two tiny homes were stolen from a property on Driers Road, Cooran overnight on Saturday and Sunday morning, 25 and 26 April, police have confirmed.

A police spokesperson said Sunshine Coast police were contacted about 4.30pm Sunday by a man who reported locating a stolen tiny home hooked up to a vehicle on McDonalds Rd in Bli Bli.
