I tried applying for the CSR and realized that my Equifax report was frozen. When I went into Equifax to unfreeze it. I noticed that my 2 Amex charge cards (Gold and Platinum) were listed under "open lines" instead of revolving account. Without these 2 cards, I would be at 4/24 with them 6/24. Would Chase see these 2 accounts as credit card accounts ...

1) They make my wallet heavy.

 

2) They don't bend, so it's hard for my fat fingers to fish them out of my wallet.

 

3) They aren't as cool as people think they are.  If you need a metal credit card to feel like a big shot, you're probably not a big shot.

I just did a balance transfer onto my Platinum card with Navy Federal because they sent me a 0% apr for 12 month offer. My statement just cut and they increased my limit by 5K and lowered my APR on the card. Just got approved, I like the idea that I dont have an annual fee for my wifes card.  Since I use the hotel credits ($300 twice a year) and the authorized user card with no annual fee, thats $795 towards my annual fee.  I didnt know until today that Morgan Stanley opened up the Platinum AmEx for the etrade folks.
