Performance Upgrades for Huasheng GX50
Hey, I've got a Huasheng GX50 on my Huffy bike, live in a hilly area and am quite disappointed in it's acceleration and inability to climb the hills. Completely stock, I've done no modifications. Starting my first build looking for recommendations and recommended parts...
Got the frame in it has installed motor mounts and built in tank. Was considering a 4 stroke motor and Not sure what the power/speed I can expect also I like the springer front end with disc brakes but will it be functional or something else I could regret.

New Avenger 85 and break in
Installed a new avenger 85 on my bike. Left the studs as they were before assembly the top end and head so I didn't over torque or strip on accident. Replaced the acorn nuts with standard 8mm nuts. Got a torque wrench and torqued to 12ft/lbs in an X pattern. Running 20:1 gas/oil ratio with Walmart 2 cycle oil for break in, though I've seen many people recommend 24:1 and 32:1 so ...

Runaway after starting
I just rebuilt the top end of my minarelli build. I have the expansion chamber from California Motorbikes, a nibbi p19 carb and everything else is pretty much stock as far as a CM motor goes.
