HIIIIII! It's Ellie Mae! I'm taking over the blog today to discuss a VERY important topic relating to sharing our lives with our humans (if you only have one human, and it's not a Daddy, consider yourself VERY lucky ... also, if you'd like a Daddy, I have a used one for sale (* #). He's not low miles ... but he's reliable (@)). 

The girls come up with a new "game." Of course, things are all fun and games until somecat crosses the line ... though we're not sure who that was in this conversation. Things quickly get out of paw (as they so often do).

Ellie's killing instinct hasn't diminished since she started cancer treatment. But we made some modifications, so she's more comfortable. First, we play on the bed, so when she does hop and pounce, her landings are softer on her joints. Second, we focus most activity in one spot so she doesn't have to hop or pounce unless she wants to. Fighting cancer is tough, and Ellie has undoubtedly been through a lot. I love it when she shows us that she's just a cat doing her thing. It makes a Mom's heart happy to see that the extra time Ellie's treatments provide is time spent being her glorious, quirky, and infinitely lovable self.
