I paved one of my parks. Not a single tenant expressed appreciation, the just bitched it was too narrow. The gravel road had widened because ppl drive around the pot holes. They also bitched because I didn’t pave their parking spots. 15 years later, the pavement is still near flawless because it had a solid base. It is easier to plow, the town sometimes mistakes it for a town...
I’m very thankful for this post. SD guy as usual has clear thinking and experience. I was considering adding services like garbage and lawn care. I see now that would be a big mistake. I thought it would help with my chronic garbage/junk collectors, the same 2 who aren’t paying me, have cops their frequently, have drug users and thieves for guests.
