I've inherited a 2002 manual K11 (Power Steering but no A/C) CG10DE with a blown head gasket. I know it was driven through overheating, and I can see a bodged fix with silicone that was done before, as well as where coolant has shot out from the side of the bottom of the head. the gearbox from a 1.3 micra is way too long.
When we put on an 1.3 engine the gearbox from a 1.0 we have a good result
but the gears still are short and the rpm too high..
and the most important for me as i can say is that from gear change to change

Hi anyone got experience in swapping out the brake servo/master cylinder on a k12, is it removed in one piece or will I need to take off the master cylinder first? Do the brake lines to the master cylinder bend enough to allow the removal?

No spark
Hi, can anyone help, was 20minutes into my journey this morning and my 1.3 ncvt just lost drive I pulled to safety. At first I thought was the drive belt had snapped, further inspection I have noticed I have no spark, which points towards the distributor. But wasn’t sure if there was a fail safe that cuts the ignition if the ncvt fails. Any ideas would be great. Thank
