STUNT Takes Down No. 4 UT Martin; Falls to No. 1 Cal Baptist in Day One of Music City Classic


NASHVILLE, Tenn.  – The Mercyhurst STUNT team, currently ranked fifth in the nation, competed in the Music City Classic hosted by Trevecca Nazarene. They played No. 4 UT Martin, a fellow member of the MAWC, and beat them 30-28 in OT. In game two, they played No. 1 California Baptist and fell, 27-3.

Lakers Fall to Binghamton in WNIT Opening Round, 81-60


The Mercyhurst women's basketball team fell to Binghamton, 81-60, in the first round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. Sofia Wilson led the way for the Lakers with 17 points, three assists, three rebounds, and a steal.

Women's Basketball Set for First WNIT Appearance vs. Binghamton


The Mercyhurst women's basketball team and Binghamton meet for the second time ever in the Women's National Invitation Tournament Thursday. The Bearcats visit Erie for the first time since 2001 as the Lakers make their first national postseason appearance since making the move to Division I.
