I was looking through one of the books in my collection today and came across this illustration, which I must never have looked too closely at before, because they appear to have given this mantis eight legs! Anyone else come across any illustrations of mantises in books they'd like to share? Alternatively, anyone care to hazard a guess on what species they based this off of?
My lady's abdomend is getting quite large. This morning I couldn't find her in her enclosure. Finally found her crawling down at the bottom of the enclosure behind a piece of cork. I had to severly disrupt her enclosure to get her out. I am thinking she is not satisfied with any of her laying options. What do you like to provide for your to attach their ooths too?
