Password Required After Time Only If Plugged It
Hi All,
I have a MacBook Air M4 using Sequoia 15.8.1. Recently, if the charger is plugged in, after the set amount of time in System Settings - Lock Screen the computer will require a password to enable Touch ID. That's fine.

But, if on Battery (charger not plugged in), I can leave the computer alone for hours or days- lid open or closed. It never requires a p...

iWatch SE Keypad App
Is there a QWERTY keyboard app for iWatch? I have iWatch SE and have been getting requests to input my apple password. Trying to manually write in a complex passoword with lower case, upper case, symbols, etc, with my finger is nearly impossible. Everything I have seen says iWatch Series 7 or later is required.

Install High Sierra on an external SSD
My wife's 2011 iMac's hard drive has crashed. I have an external SSD and have tried to erase it formatting to MacOS Extended (Journaled) and set Scheme to GUID Partition Map as recommended by Apple but it comes up with a message to say that erase has failed.

erase a Mac Pro?
Once we find out how to get out of the Windows side on a Mac Pro (inquiry just posted) what do we need to erase the hard drive and reinstall original software? A startup disk? Where to get? I am trying to help a neophyte and I am pretty ignorant. TIA. john
