How long should I wait before I update iphone software updates
I'm new to iphone 16 and the Apple world in general. I keep reading that software updates to ios are rushed out and in short time there is a fix issued. Is this a common occurrence. Should I delay installing these updates for a short period and is there a site that lists these update problems and fixes?

iPhone not visible to Mac
I was trying to Airdrop photos from my iMac to my iPhone but the phone wasn't 'found' (Airdrop on on both devices, and switched from Ethernet to WiFi on the Mac).

I thought it was an Airdrop problem until I realised that neither Finder nor iTunes sees the phone, which is not in Airplane mode. It's connected to the Mac via a powered hub.

Password no longer works
I went to log on this evening and my password, the one Ive been using for years no longer works, I tried to reset it using the apple account, but that didn’t work either. I rest the Apple account password using my iPad. That doesn’t work either. I’ve been at this for hours. I have a Time Machine back up, but if I do that, won’t I have the same password issue?
