La Comisión Europea presentó la EU KIDS Act, que propone impedir el acceso a redes sociales a menores de 13 años y permitir únicamente cuentas supervisadas entre los 13 y los 15. El proyecto también limita funciones consideradas adictivas y obliga a las plataformas tecnológicas a demostrar que sus servicios son seguros para niños y adolescentes.
