Mary Stott was editor of the Woman’s Page in The Guardian from 1957 to 1971, and afterwards, an activist. Her archive is held in The Women’s Library at LSE. In June 2026 LSE Library held an event to celebrate both the life of Mary Stott, and the launch of the book Mary Stott: pioneering woman journalist by Jane W Grant.
