Summary

I have purchased a new MX Mouse 4 to replace my MX Mouse S2 which has an issue with its wheel mode. For MX Mouse 4, unfortunately, I cannot continue using Logi Options and had to uninstall them on all three of my devices and install Logi Options Plus. Unfortunately, the Flow functionality which is the main reason why I even stuck with Logitech is not working on one of the devices--Windows 11--while continuing to work on the other two devices. Here is my setup:

Keyboard: Logitech MX Keys (original model, not MX Keys S)

Computers

Windows 10 desktop
Windows 11 laptop

Network

UniFi Dream Machine
All three devices are on the same LAN
Same VLAN
Same SSID (for wireless devices)
Same subnet: 10.5.3.0/24
Same subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Same default gateway: 10.5.3.1

IP addresses:

macOS: 10.5.3.100
Windows 11: 10.5.3.109
Windows 10: 10.5.3.116

Original Working Configuration

Before replacing my mouse:

MX Master 2S
MX Keys keyboard
Logitech Options (legacy)
Logitech Flow worked correctly across all three computers.

I could seamlessly move the mouse and keyboard between:

macOS
Windows 10
Windows 11

No network changes were made.

Current Configuration

After replacing the mouse:

MX Master 4
MX Keys keyboard (same keyboard as before)
Logitech Options+ installed on all three computers

Mouse connection methods:

macOS: Logi Bolt receiver
Windows 10: Bluetooth
Windows 11: Bluetooth

Keyboard connection methods:

macOS: Bluetooth
Windows 10: USB-A Unifying receiver
Windows 11: USB-A Unifying receiver

The mouse and keyboard both function correctly on all three computers when manually switching using Easy-Switch.

Easy-Switch remembers all three computers correctly.

Flow Behavior

Flow successfully works between:

macOS
Windows 10

Flow does not work with Windows 11.

In Flow layout:

Windows 11 shows:

Attempting to pair Windows 11 with either macOS or Windows 10 always ends with "NOT FOUND".

Network Verification

Verified:

All three computers have addresses on 10.5.3.x
Same subnet mask
Same gateway
Same VLAN
Same SSID where applicable

Connectivity tests:

macOS ↔ Windows 11

Ping works in both directions.

Windows 10 → macOS

Ping works.

Windows 10 → Windows 11

Ping works.

macOS → Windows 10

Ping does not receive replies.

Windows 11 → Windows 10

Ping does not receive replies.

Despite Windows 10 not responding to ping requests, Flow operates correctly between Windows 10 and macOS, suggesting this is unrelated to the Flow issue.

ARP tables populate correctly on Windows 11 for both other computers.

Hostname resolution also works correctly.

Firewall Tests

Windows 11:

Windows Defender Firewall completely disabled (Private and Public)

Windows 10:

Windows Defender Firewall disabled

macOS:

Firewall disabled for testing
When enabled, LogiOptionsPlus Agent and LogiMgrDaemon were configured to allow incoming connections.

Disabling firewalls did not resolve the Flow issue.

Logitech Software Verification

Installed version on all three computers:

2.5.926888

Verified running processes:

LogiOptionsPlus.exe
LogiOptionsPlus_Agent.exe
LogiOptionsPlus_AppBroker.exe
LogiOptionsPlus_Update.exe
LogiPluginService.exe
LogiPluginServiceExt.exe

Verified Windows service:

Running
Startup type: Automatic

Receiver and Connection Tests

Tested all of the following:

Bolt receiver connected to macOS
Bolt receiver connected to Windows 11
Bluetooth connection
Removing and re-pairing the MX Master 4
Removing Bluetooth pairing
Pairing using Bolt receiver instead
Different Easy-Switch channels

The connection method (Bolt vs Bluetooth) made no difference.

The mouse works normally on all three computers outside of Flow.

Software Reset Attempts

Performed:

Uninstalled Logitech Options+
Deleted remaining Logitech Options+ configuration folders from AppData
Reinstalled Logitech Options+
Re-paired the mouse
Reconfigured Flow

Issue remained unchanged.

Windows Network Reset

Executed:

netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset

Rebooted afterwards.

No change.

Flow Configuration Files

Examined Flow configuration files stored by Logitech Options+.

macOS and Windows 10 both correctly recorded each other's host IDs.

Windows 11 never populated the discovered peer host IDs and retained placeholder values instead.

This suggests that Windows 11 never successfully completes the Flow peer registration process, even though:

the local network is reachable,
the mouse is functioning correctly,
Easy-Switch is configured correctly,
and Flow works between the other two computers.

Expected Behavior

Flow should allow seamless movement of the MX Master 4 and MX Keys between:

macOS
Windows 10
Windows 11

exactly as it previously did using the MX Master 2S and Logitech Options.

Summary

Everything indicates that:

the local network is functioning,
Flow itself works between macOS and Windows 10,
the MX Master 4 operates correctly,
Easy-Switch is configured correctly,
and only Windows 11 fails to register itself as a Flow peer.

The failure appears isolated to Logitech Flow's discovery or peer registration process on Windows 11.
