Using the first midi slot and turning drone off fixed it for me, works better then you described. Tried it it out with a sequencer for fun and could trigger samples and set notes, velocity and length on the grid. A bit harder to control the granular parts so i’ll probably stick with only twins for now but cool that it is possible, could come in handy later on:)
