2001 Defender 110 TD5
Hi folks, just trying to tidy up a few bits. Wiper wheelbox, does anybody know the 'spec' of the yellow arrow nut? I'd like to change it to stainless if possible?
And is there any handy solution to replacing the (red arrow) rubber sleeve/grommet? Mine have perished away after 25 yrs!

Has anyone taken the plunge and removed their sunroofs and either welded or rivited over the holes?
I'm at my wits end with trying to get new seals to fit (gen land rover ones) and i can't get them to stay in the channel. Fed up with it all now.

Hi! I'm doing some body/rust repair on my 1992 D1 200Tdi and want to replace my old windshield (rubber-sealed) with a bonded one from a 300Tdi. Is there any additional welding required to fit the new windshield, or is it a direct fit?

Or is sticking to the original windshield and just replacing the rubber seal a better idea?

On with 200tdi conversion, Need new pump but cant exchange mine as its totally knackered so price will be very high with surcharge. anyone tried these Chinese ones before, wondering weather to take a chance.
