(Essex, IA) – The Iowa State Patrol late Sunday night, released information about a fatal accident that occurred Saturday night in southwest Iowa. Authorities say a woman who was struck by an SUV died from her injuries. The accident happened north of Essex at around 9:55 p.m.

With more size in the post next season Iowa senior Cam Manyuwa will spend more time at power forward. Manyuwa was an undersized post for a Hawkeye team that finished 24-13 and made a run to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. His role will change next season at both ends of the court.

Manyuwa believes playing more at the four spot will be a benefit to him.
