Back in My Soul with a Fresh Battery
Hey everyone, just got the call, my 2016 Soul EV is ready to pick up with a brand-new battery installed! No more turtle mode, and I’m hoping it’s got its gittyup back.

Which UK models prone to motor and gru bearing issues?
Is there a list of which models have the motor and gru which are prone to the bearing issues?
I was looking at a 2020 64kwh "First Edition" but can't determine if that is classed as "first gen" and so prone to the issues or 2nd gen along with the urban and explore and so not prone?

Used 64kwh First Edition prone to motor or gearbox bearing failure?
Information very hard to find on all these forums is specifically which models of Soul EV in the UK have the motors and gearbox that are prone to the bearing failures I have read so much about?
Is the 2020 64kwh First Edition one of these and the later Urban and Explore being "2nd gen" shouldn't have these problems?

EV Light and noisy HVAC
Hi we have a 2016 Soul, 56,000miles.

Does anybody else's HVAC Growl at you. Our sounds possessed, but only when it's just tickling to mainting temp. Heating and cooling the cabin from extremes absolutley fine.

The other issue is during cold, the EV warning light comes on (seems to be more likely the colder it is, but generally when less than 3degC) and occasion...

first time stopped charging
Hello expert,
today first time i face this issue couldn't diagnose as dark early morning and hurry to work, have MY2016 , 210K , i am using this car from 2019 no ever issue so far, battery replaced under warranty in NOV2021 , always charge at home level 2/250v /16AMP , most time 80% set to charge, battery is still SOH 100% (on soul spy), last night plugged for charge its on ...
