KENT, Ohio – The College Baseball Foundation announced its 2026 Pitcher of the Year Award Watch List on Wednesday, and Kent State baseball is well-represented. Right-handers Ciaran Caughey and Easton Tumis have both been named to the list, making the Golden Flashes the only program in the Mid-American Conference with any pitchers on the prestigious national watch list.

CLEVELAND – A trio of Flashes have won All-MAC awards for the 2025-2026 season. Delrecco Gillespie has been named All-MAC First Team, and to the MAC All-Defensive Team, Morgan Safford has been named All-MAC Honorable Mention, and Quinn Woidke has been named to the MAC All-Freshman Team. The conference announced their season awards on Wednesday, March 11.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the second consecutive season, the Kent State Golden Flashes made the trip to Columbus and left with a victory. Behind a dramatic five-run ninth inning, the Flashes rallied past Ohio State 8-5 on Tuesday at the Buckeyes' home park, improving to 12-4 on the year and notching their third win over a Power Four program this season.
