We had a great last day in a jewel of a city name Tlemcin about 2 hours by van from Oran. Again the drive was pretty harrowing as we stopped frequently for our police escort and then drove at speeds that put Bob over the edge.

Back in Algiers

 A morning spent checking out the city of Timimoun's market followed by a five hour delay for our flight back to Algiers. We said good bye to half the group and our tour guide.... the rest of us head to Oran tomorrow for a three day extension .

 The group headed out on the desert to see some ancient fortified dwellings and have tea while watching the sunset. No clouds to deter our experience but enough sand that the sun was virtually invisible as it sank (although Bob somehow got a good photo).
