We played The Ward at Keylock Games in Wickford, and it’s a brilliantly eerie escape room packed with inventive puzzles, clever twists and a seriously tense finish. If you like immersive games with atmosphere, challenge and a few surprises along the way, this one is well worth a look.

Our second visit to A Coruña began at 7 am, nightclub revellers still stumbling home opposite the ship. Rated 8/10 difficulty, it nearly beat us. We escaped with minutes to spare, but the ending came with a moral dilemma…
