Segundo a Comissão Europeia, Portugal na sua Estratégia Digital Nacional, previu um investimento equivalente a 0,75% do seu PIB para concretizar todas as medidas, um valor inferior aos 1,14% do PIB Europeu, previstos em média pela União Europeia, no seu todo, para financiar a totalidade das 1910 medidas no âmbito do Programa Década Digital dos Estados-Membros.
