Very light winds, dry with sunshine all day - glorious - a day with plenty of birds and plenty of birders enjoying them.
The weather took a bit of a turn for the good today - though there were still light intermittent showers between largely sunny conditions. The main change was a high pressure system prevailing over the north Atlantic producing moderate NW winds - colder, but perfect conditions for arrivals of geese and swans.
