In a recent statement, Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), discussed Iran’s enhanced military capabilities, particularly in missile warhead technology. This elaboration follows the conflicts involving the United States and Israel against Iran, which took place over 12 days in June 2025 and 40 days in late February.

Mohebbi noted that the warheads utilized in the IRGC missiles possess a significantly greater destructive capability compared to those deployed in past conflicts.

He noted that Iran is consistently progressing in various sectors of military weaponry, developing arms that are increasingly precise, destructive, and technologically advanced.

He highlighted that if another conflict were to arise, the arsenal employed would undoubtedly differ from what has been seen in previous wars. This distinction could manifest in the advancement of warhead generations, enhanced precision strike systems, extended missile range, or other technological areas.

The spokesperson for Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps affirmed the continued production and advancement in military armaments, asserting that progress is made daily and any developments in this area are possible.

In July, Brigadier General Majid Ibn Reza, Iran’s acting defense minister, emphasized that production lines are operating with increased activity compared to previous periods, highlighting the Islamic Republic’s commitment to shaping its defense future.

Saudi Arabia is struggling to maintain control over the Ansarullah movement and to protect itself from ongoing attacks by the group.

In other parts of his speech, Mohebbi elaborated on the abilities of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement in countering Saudi military actions.

The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that despite engaging in conflict in Gaza for over two years, Israel has not been able to deliver significant blows to the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas.

Saudi Arabia, with its relatively limited military capabilities compared to Israel, is unlikely to overcome the Ansarullah resistance movement, he stated.

Saudi Arabia is unlikely to contain the situation in Yemen or mitigate Ansarullah’s retaliatory strikes, the official emphasized. Recent developments indicate that increased aggression by Saudi Arabia leads to heightened counterattacks.

Mohebbi highlighted the rapid enhancement of Ansarullah’s capabilities, underscoring the continuous and robust development of Yemeni resistance forces.
