Japan Village, a sprawling cultural oasis nestled inside Brooklyn’s Industry City, has officially unveiled a massive 50,000-square-foot expansion. The venue has transitioned from a popular neighborhood food hall into a staggering 70,000-square-foot mega-destination dedicated to authentic food, shopping, and entertainment.

A puppet theater will soon raise the curtain at its new Brooklyn home, after more than three decades of performances in Park Slope.

Puppetworks is set to open within Industry City’s Makers Guild in mid-September. It will occupy a 1,200-square-foot space in Building 5.
