Duchenne Parent Project Spain has invested €247,000 in the BEAT project, which will be carried out by the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC).  Cardiomyopathy is the leading cause of death in patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).
