Hamse Ali satte Bergen på hodet med sine rasismeanklager, men ble siktet for falsk forklaring. Han ble imidlertid frifunnet i tingretten. Saken ble anket av statsadvokaten og tirsdag ble ankesaken avsluttet i lagmannsretten. Statsadvokaten mener Ali diktet opp det rasistisk motiverte overfallet ut fra et økonomisk perspektiv.
