Are they actually as friendly as claimed?
I see they need extra attention to keeping them dry due to their feathers not keeping water out. My current birds all either live in old ibc totes or a covered dog kennel, depending on their age/purpose. Would a covered dog run with some sort of shelter inside work for nighttime?
