I hadn't gotten back to this following my new low end referencing. It was bottom heavy.


Having a cleaner bottom really opens up the top.

I'll leave folks to draw their own conclusions of what that means ...

I'm doing lots of video work, now I have sort of officially retired from running a theatre - just not fun any more - so I'm feeling the water. The thing now is that the PA gear is pretty decent, even when loud, but the mix of course is a one off - so you just have to hope. You need your ears for talking to the camera ops, so best you can do is check overall level when it actuall...

Ive wasted some money the past 2 years on Amazon colored cool cable sets for $15 for 8 of them and found they didn't fit into the XLR very good, crackling etc... and so all removed.
I figured I could chop off the ends and solder some good XLR on the colored cables later.

Then I ordered some new Amazon no name cables, very cheap but being a believer, cables don't ...
