It's Christmas day. Woke up at 6am, fired up the smoker and threw on a big pork shoulder for some pulled pork tonight. I put on a wild dry rub from TexasBBQRub.com yesterday and I'll be making a red sauce to go with it.

Soup
Raised on the Gulf Coast we had 2 kinds of soup-Campbells Cream of Mushroom for casseroles and Chicken Noodle for when nobody wanted to cook food. In the Southwest we make posole with green chile, pork and hominy. But I never really understood soup until spending this fall in France.

I love it when my supplies are delivered.

I got my order from Austin Homebrew!! Today's delivery was the grain bill for a kind of Yuengling clone but made as an ale, order complete with yeast and hops.
I have never brewed it before so that will be new.

Got 3 lbs of Extra Pale DME to replenish stock, and a new bottle filler.
