Anyone check how square their column is with their table on their bench mills? If so is there anything you did to straighten it up if it was out?

I have a precision Matthews pm-30-mv that has been converted to a CNC mill. I was able to put a tall granite square on the table and check the column with it, and I had more runout that I was hoping. It probably isn't enough ...

I have Started working on building Bob Shores Silver Bullitt, I have the block all finished. . The Crankshaft is done and piston and rods with split bearings, the rings are made. Finished the cam today. Making that was a slow process for sure. starting on the cam bearings next and will be making the gears for the cam and crank. I will post some pics in the next few days
