Yudoku-onsen 有毒温泉 on the floor of the vast Ohachidaira Crater お鉢平 in the Daisetsuzan Range stands out on topomaps. Situated between Asahidake and Kurodake, it's hard to miss on the traverse between the two ropeways. There's no trail into the crater however, and for good reason. Poisonous gas makes it a deadly place to be.

We're updating our popular Niseko Backcountry map for 2026. Main changes are slope angle shading, and some updated routes and access around the Raiden-yama area in the Niseko Range.
2025年12月、新しいバックカントリースキーマップ （紙地形図）『Daisetsuzan Backcountry』を発売する予定です。大判の地図面には、十勝連峰の全域に加え、大雪山系北部（旭岳・黒岳を含む）をカバーします。『Niseko Backcountry』同様、日本製の合成紙に国内印刷。駐車情報や気候、エリア別の注意事項など、実用情報を豊富に収録しています。大型地図（660×965mm）となっています。収益の一部は、ニセコの地図と同様、北海道の山岳エリアの安全や持続可能な管理の取り組みに寄付する方針。
