GENEVA, N.Y.—The ninth-ranked William Smith lacrosse team knocked off 20th-ranked St. John Fisher 8-2 in a defensive battle inside the Poole Family Dome this afternoon. With the win, the Herons improve to 4-0 on the season.

Anschutz wins AMCC Bowler of the Week honors


William Smith senior Caitlyn Anschutz was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Bowler of the Week by the conference office today. She led the Herons to a third place finish at the ROC City Classic on Saturday.

Mantione receives prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship


William Smith field hockey graduate student Rebecca Mantione was one of just 21 female fall sport student-athletes across all three NCAA divisions to receive an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Mantione is just the 12th Heron student-athlete, and first since Margaret McConnell '14, to receive this prestigious scholarship.

Hobart rallies for 12-7 win over Le Moyne


GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart lacrosse team delivered a dominant second half comeback to secure a 12-7 victory over Le Moyne on Tuesday at Urick Stadium. Trailing by four at the half, the Statesmen outscored the Dolphins 10-1 in the second half, scoring the final seven goals of the contest.
