An ambitious attempt to reach the remote Beloon Trig became an exciting wilderness journey featuring a wombat rescue, helicopter evacuation and arduous scrambling up Travis Gully. The 3-day trip ended up descending to the Nattai River from Wattle Ridge and ascending Travis Gully to Beloon Pass.
