Sat in a guys garage for a while. Didn't want to deal with it. I messed with the switch a little. dumped the gas and put fresh gas in. It fires up. Fuel line is in real bad shape. What temperature does the P61 idle at? I'm trying figure out at what a what point I should turn it off. Mine on 1 runs at 270ish which makes it to hot above 35ish outside.

Hello all,

I have a 1992 Quadra-Fire / Aladdin gas stove. It is leaving a lot of soot on the logs in the burn box where the flame is emitting around them. I was wondering if there is a cure to this.
