There is a special drug that is not being produced anymore that was effective for many kids with Oliver’s type of leukemia. We would like to try it and the company is planning to donate the rest for compassionate use but hasn’t done so yet. Oliver is in his bone marrow biopsy right now. We should find out results at the end of the week as to whether or not he is in remission. He needs to be in remission to continue to transplant, but everything is set and approved for transplant to start on May 18.
