GT40s

I'll be building a monocoque using as many FAV drawings as possible and when not available I will make parts of my own design. So as long as this build log stays friendly I will continue to update it.

This is my first post on my GRBX change for my GTD. All that has been done so far is that I took off he rear engine cover and set it aside with the help of my friend and put the car up on roll arounds. This is what I started with. Lots to do I think.

Lamps are from my GTD, I replaced the lamps for LHD, to register in Belgium.
The lamps (from Escort MK1 GT) are as new.
300 Euro for the 2. I payed 300 Euro myself for 2 very old LHD lamps.
I can post them in the UK for 10 Euro ( I have a company in UK).

Well I just could not bring myself to spend the money on a manufacturers kit so I found a Kellison gt40 and junked the vw stuff. In the process of building my own chassis with a built 289 and o1x gearbox with c5 suspension. do envy you guys building the mfg.kits and watch all of you. I still have lots of questions also. Thanks for reading
