Hey Everyone, Long time reader, first time poster. I have a 737 that seems to be stuck in hard bypass. To make this short and quick, the 12 volt rail is measuring in at 10 volts. I disconnected the psu umbilical and the 12 volts is dead on and has very low noise. When I plug it back in, it measures 10 volts right at D1 (1n4004) and the other end of the diode is acting weird too....

Hi, I have an old DBX 166.
I've modified it (only one channel so far) with the following modifications:
PSU MoD: – Replace c3 ,c4, c7, and c8 with 1000uf-2200uf 35v caps
– Replace c5 and c9 with a .1uf film cap (preferably polypropelene)
– Bypass c6 and c10 with .1uf film caps
Channel 1:

IC MoD: – Replace chip OA1 with better ic ...

I've got a Pignose G40V which I think doesn't sound right. (Schematic below)

It's not humming or hissing or making noise, it just doesn't sound full in the low, low-mid area and the high end is murder on the ears. I haven't gotten out a meter or scope to do any real troubleshooting, but I did swap the tubes to rule that out as a possible cause, and no change.

Looking for schematics. It's a compressor plus noise gate from the mid-1980s. Allegedly smooth sounding.

Should anyone have the schematics, could you please share and/or upload to Tech Doc section.
