GM Square Body - 1973 - 1987 GM Truck Forum

Hi everyone, apologies if this is duplicated somewhere. I could use some help identifying my power steering box; it's on an '84 C20 2WD automatic.

I just replaced the front end components: ball joints, toe links, idler arm, pitman arm, etc., and had it aligned at a shop. Drives straight, but has a few inches of play on either side of center on the wheel. I'm thinkin...

New Member and new owner of a 1973 C-50 that needs some work.

I way way overestimated parts availability for these big trucks.

Does anybody have good places to get parts for these big trucks or is there some magical GM cross reference i cannot find.

Any help or contact is greatly appreciated.

My 84K30 with 6.2L had the factory Stanadyne/WIX block type fuel filter. Now switched to newer Duramax type assembly with spin filter. (And primer!) It also features water sensor and fuel heater. The new one's pretty obvious but I've yet to puzzle out which old wires to splice. Online PDF libraries have some electrical details but so far not enough to solve this.

I have a 1980 GMC K3500, i would like to put J style wiper arms, but I understand the hood on This truck is different than other square bodies, is there a modern wipe or arm that I can use to get rid of that cheap design from the factory that won't interfere with the hood?

Hey guys, so i swapped a 1978 cab onto my 1977 c10 and for inspection i need wipers to work. I know they changed the design for the years but what is the best way to go about making it work the 1978 cab has the switch and wiper motor but no wiring harness to hook up to the motor and i have the old 77 wiper motor, wiring and switch
