Still debating doing this paint stripe without side trim just use the body lines to set it up and yes, the plan is to go all the way down behind the rear wheel opening. Saw one in orange and black that was done like this. What do you guys think of this layout?

Just picked up a 80 K20. I have had several of these old trucks. Been a gear head my whole life.lol. it's a factory 292 with sm465.

I am going to upgrade my brakes from manual to power. I read in a recent post I would need to change out my brake pedal. Is this true?
My truck is manual tranny with factory front disk brake so it has a proportioning valve block I think I can keep the proportioning valve in place and just add the booster with brackets add a vacuum line from the carb base plate and its done....

I need to change out the rear wheel cylinder on my 76 C30 dump. It appears that the leaf springs are set wider on the dump truck than on a regular bed, so I can't really get to the back side of the backing plate easily. I was planning to just drop the whole rear end assembly, as I just replaced all the U Bolts, so they would come off easily. However, after thinking about it some...
