A false colour, panoramic view of dunes on the floor of Endurance Crater, taken on SOL221 by Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity. The long, sinuous dunes in the foreground are less than a metre high. Part of the lower crater wall is visible behind the small dune field. The interdune flats are covered with hematite spherules, nicknamed “blueberries.
