Measuring Up?

Apparently there’s a lot to learn about Pyrex. Specifically, PYREX (all caps) vs. pyrex (lower case). The former is vintage and made with borosilicate which makes it a lot sturdier as far as withstanding temperature variations, i.e., "freezer to oven".
