I am wondering what people who are totally new to metal detecting are buying these days. Please include make and model and price of detector you purchased. Are you buying made in USA Detectors? Made outside of USA? Less than $200 chinese detectors?

If you have not purchased one yet, which ones are you seriously considering to purchase?
