I tried yesterday to detect a field and it had so many ticks I had to leave in just a few minute. So today I went back.
I found some ticks! Or maybe they found me.

I dug this up in a spot where I have found old bottles and household relics and close to a long abandoned coal mine.Any ideas? It is non ferrous.

I think most of us detect for the thrill of the hunt and to hold a piece of history in your hand, but has anybody made any kind of money out of this hobby ?

Been out as much as possible, weather permitting. Tides have been favorable so decided to try and get in some water detecting. Had to hit several beaches to get what you see. We should still have a few more good days I think so hopefully there will be more to find. The "love" ring is 10k, and the wedding band is 14k.

I found this projectile on a trail along
the beach cliffs.
It's obviously military and a .303 british
round for the Lee Enfield rifle .The bullet
was impacted on its side. It could be
from 1rst. or the 2nd. World War .Or even
from the late 19th century
