Went to a permission in Pence Springs, WV with a lot of history. Best find was a badge from the Scottish Textiles Workers Union. It was made by a famous British Jewler , Fattotini and Sons. The union and the badge have almost no documentation online, but these unions were common in Scotland and Britain in the early 1900’s.

Got out in the field for a long day today. I'm pretty sure this site has never seen a detector. This is my 16th brass skeleton key of this type. I guess if fences make for good neighbors, locks made for good Puritans. The decorative handle is interesting and still has the dowel inside.
