I found what appears to be a military button the other day at an old farmhouse. It's slightly smaller than a dime, quite thick, has a flat back, and two holes (one on either side of the Eagle). The holes do appear to be original and not holes that were drilled by a "new" owner once they took possession. My guess, due to the flat back, is that it's likely a decorative cuff button...

My girlfriend sent me a selfie in a new dress and asked me,
