They are really popping up in north Texas this afternoon. Not far south of @Mazarine_ is a rapidly growing fire in rough terrain. Growing steadily despite the planes dropping retardant. It's now over 200 acres, started a couple of hours ago!!

I'm a little surprised that no-one has yet mentioned the passing of Frank Beard... drummer for ZZ Top, last Monday.

The only band member without a beard, but he made up for it with his name? I was lucky enough to rub shoulders with Frank and Billy, back in 2018. Never got my guitar autographed... but at least I have evidence that it was there. That was a great show...
