My alternator went out on my 2018 explorer XLT and I’m pretty much almost removed it. I’ve removed both 15mm bolts on the alternator but it’s still in there. I hear there’s a 7mm stud holding it as well but I can’t seem to find it. Anyone have a picture or link to video that shows it well.

I am going to remove the engine and trans on my 2016 2.3l ecoboost with 201000 miles so that i can replace the rear main seal.
while i have everything out is there anything else that i should replace, like the timing chains,oil pump ect on the engine?
How about the trans?

So I have sourced the rear toe link (forged version) online and it's a good price. Original Ford Part it claims. Part Number DB5Z5A972U. But Im not sure about buying online from these guys. I like to physically hold the part in my hand before I commit. So I went to the Ford parts place close to me and had them query the same part number and the page at FORD they pulled up shows ...

First pic is my first pass in my XLT, just intake and exhaust. 2nd is after intercooler installed and front air flow modifications (and lot better air). Going to put some E in it and pull some weight to try and get 13s before it gets tuned. Still got to practice my launch.
