So rarely do we stray
From our likes and dislikes. 
 
Formed at an early age
Are preferred ways of doing things
If they work, why change?
So long as they have been working. 
 
Which makes it difficult
For people to try something new

That what they’d much prefer
Is to go out in a blaze of glory
And to do so as a martyr. 
 
Which is pretty scary,
That some hold a religious belief
And would have as their philosophy
That a martyr’s death is the ultimate relief. 
 
Most would view this as insanity

We have a dream that we want to achieve
