I’ve been using Goodreads for years. It holds my want-to-read list, all the books I’ve read, and a fair amount of ratings. But it has been bugging me for a while: it’s slow, it hasn’t meaningfully changed in ages, and it’s owned by Amazon. As part of my ongoing effort to rely less on big Big Tech, I decided to replace it with something of my own.

So, for Apple’s screenless fitness tracker, I’d love to see some sort of button and indicator LED that you can use for starting and stopping a workout. You’d still need to go on your phone later to categorize the workout, but I’d much rather do that than have to deal with it in the moment. Apple could also develop a classification model based on certain factors.
