As we've been learning about the various batteries in our aircraft for fellow CubCrafters owners here there is one more battery in play and that's the Garmin G5. Probably one least thought about so I figured I'd dig into the manuals to see what I could find. The battery type is Lithium Ion (different from LiFePO4) so it may not be susceptible to the cold temp charging conditions...

This is part of the reason I got BRS in my cub. The chances of a mid-air are higher than ever. It could cause a structural failure that may make flying the aircraft difficult or impossible.
