Hello everyone,

Due to a termination of lease for the landlord’s personal use, my family and I will be moving within Berlin in the coming weeks. As a result, the next two months will mainly be filled with moving boxes, organizing, and settling into our new home.

Please bear with me if, during this time, I respond to forum posts with a significant delay or if I happen to overlook a post or two.

I’m sure that even during this time, you’ll continue to support one another with the same helpfulness and respect that I’ve come to expect from our community. As soon as my family and I get back into a more normal routine, I’ll return to the FlatPress project with my usual dedication.

I’ve already done as much preparatory work as possible for FlatPress 1.6 over the past few months. For the final compatibility tests, I’d like to wait until PHP 8.6 is released in November.

And I can already reveal one thing: The changelog for FlatPress 1.6 is already quite full.

If everything goes as planned, I’d like to release the first release candidate for FlatPress 1.6 in late November or early December.

If you don’t want to wait that long, you’re of course welcome to try out the current developer version right now, test it thoroughly, and report any issues you find. This feedback is especially helpful to us as we work toward a stable release.
